About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Teacher – Toddlers (2½–3 Year Old's) to join our early childhood education team. This role is responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment that supports early learning and growth.

The ideal candidate is a confident classroom leader who enjoys working with toddlers and is committed to fostering independence, curiosity, and foundational learning skills.

Key Responsibilities

  •  Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and learning activities for toddlers (2½–3 years old). 
  •  Create a safe, structured, and engaging classroom environment
  •  Support children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
  •  Manage daily routines including meals, transitions, rest time, and classroom activities
  •  Observe, document, and assess developmental milestones and progress
  •  Communicate regularly with families regarding child development and classroom updates
  •  Supervise and guide assistant teachers and support staff
  •  Maintain compliance with licensing, health, and safety standards
Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required (Early Childhood Education coursework or degree preferred). 
  •  Experience working with toddlers (2–3 years old) in a childcare or preschool setting required
  •  Previous experience in a lead teacher or classroom leadership role preferred
  •  Strong understanding of early childhood development and play-based learning
  •  Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Preferred Skills

  •  Experience designing toddler curriculum and learning activities
  •  Strong classroom management and positive guidance techniques
  •  Ability to build a warm, structured, and engaging learning environment
  •  CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
