About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team. This role is responsible for leading a classroom, designing engaging learning experiences, and creating a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for preschool-aged children.

The ideal candidate is a confident educator who is committed to early learning, positive classroom culture, and child development.

Key Responsibilities

  •  Plan and implement age-appropriate preschool curriculum and activities
  •  Create a safe, structured, and engaging classroom environment
  •  Support children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
  •  Lead daily classroom routines including learning activities, group time, meals, and transitions
  •  Observe, assess, and document student progress and developmental milestones
  •  Communicate regularly with families regarding student growth and classroom updates
  •  Supervise and support assistant teachers and classroom staff
  •  Ensure compliance with licensing regulations, health, and safety standards
Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred). 
  •  Experience working in a preschool or early childhood education setting required
  •  Prior experience as a lead teacher or classroom leader preferred
  •  Strong knowledge of child development and early learning practices
  •  Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Preferred Skills

  •  Experience with preschool curriculum planning and implementation
  •  Strong classroom management and positive guidance strategies
  •  Ability to build a warm, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
  •  CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
